The man driving the pickup truck was transported to Bremen Hospital and later flown to Memorial Hospital in South Bend

Marshall County, IN. – One person was seriously injured in a collision in Marshall County on Thursday morning.
According to Indiana State Police, the accident happened around 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 6 and State Road 331.
A red Peterbilt semi-truck had been traveling eastbound on U.S. 6 and was stopped waiting to turn left when it was rear-ended by a silver 2006 GMC pickup.
A 19-year-old Plymouth man driving the pickup truck was transported to Bremen Hospital and later flown to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The 59-year-old Niles man driving the semi was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
