Moralas-Pico was seriously injured in the accident and was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital.

Leesburg, IN. – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Leesburg on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 1:48 p.m. on CR 300W, south of CR 700N.
36-year-old Elisa M. Moralas-Pico, of Fort Wayne, was driving a 2011 Nissan Versa northbound on CR 300W when she lost control and crashed into a power pole.
Moralas-Pico was seriously injured in the accident and was airlifted to a Fort Wayne hospital.
A passenger in the car, 18-year-old Juan C. Moralas-Pico, of Fort Wayne, complained of pain to the back and was transported to a Warsaw hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
