Authorities said a motorcycle and another vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.
Champaign County, IL. – The rider killed in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday near Urbana, Champaign County, has been identified as 35-year-old Andrew L. Ward of Allerton.
According to the Champaign County Coroner’s office, the accident happened at around 5:29 p.m. on August 5, at U.S. 130 and Old Church Road.
Authorities said a motorcycle and another vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.
Ward was declared dead at 5:59 p.m. about 30 minutes after the crash.
An autopsy result showed that Ward died due to the injuries sustained in the accident.
An investigation by the Illinois State Police and the Champaign County Coroner’s Office is underway.
