Jorge Marin Identified as E-Bike Rider Killed in Accident at Frank Street in Las Vegas

Police said Marin was riding a Montta All-Terrain E-bike northbound on Frank Street when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign and was struck by a 2023 Chevrolet 3500 traveling east on Baltimore Street.

Las Vegas, NV. –  43-year-old Jorge Marin has been identified as the man killed in an e-bike collision on Saturday afternoon in east Las Vegas, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The deadly accident happened around 4:15 p.m. on August 2, on Frank Street and East Baltimore Street.

Police said Marin was riding a Montta All-Terrain E-bike northbound on Frank Street when he failed to stop at a posted stop sign and was struck by a 2023 Chevrolet 3500 traveling east on Baltimore Street.

After the initial collision, the rider crashed into a parked 2007 Toyota Camry.

Marin was injured in the accident and was transported to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
