Walters was seriously and was airlifted to Confluence Health Hospital in Wenatchee

Grant County, WA. – Two people were injured in a car accident on Monday night near Ephrata in Grant County.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 10:15 p.m. on State Route 283 at Road 9.
18-year-old McKenna M. Walters of East Wenatchee was driving a sedan on Road 9 and was turning onto State Route 283 when it was struck by a sedan driven by 26-year-old Silvino Ortega-Cruz of Royal City.
Walters was seriously injured and was airlifted to Confluence Health Hospital in Wenatchee.
Cruz was also transported to the same facility with serious injuries.
Walters was cited for causing the crash by failing to obey a stop sign at the intersection.
