According to local police, the accident happened at the intersection of Marcellus Highway and Lawrence Road at around 2:15 p.m.
A vehicle driven by an 18-year-old man was traveling northbound on Lawrence when he reportedly failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with an eastbound car driven by a 35-year-old Decatur man.
The teen was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
