Police confirmed the man was struck by a hit-and-run driver in unclear circumstances.

Chicago, IL. – A 31-year-old man was killed after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood in Chicago’s South Side, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The deadly collision happened a while before 3:30 a.m. August 3, in the 7600 block of South Stewart Avenue.
Police confirmed the man was struck by a hit-and-run driver in unclear circumstances.
He was found unresponsive on the roadway. He was transported to University of Chicago Medical Center where he died.
No arrests were made as of Sunday.
