Troopers said a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 was heading eastbound on S.R. 44, when for unknown reasons, its right front crashed into the right front of a 2015 Dodge Charger heading westbound on S.R. 44.

Volusia County, FL. – A 17-year-old girl was killed, and four others severely hurt following a traffic collision involving two Dodges early Saturday morning in Volusia County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 4:10 a.m. August 2 on State Road 44 and Tomahawk Trail.
Troopers said a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 was heading eastbound on S.R. 44, when for unknown reasons, its right front crashed into the right front of a 2015 Dodge Charger heading westbound on S.R. 44.
A 43-year-old man driving the Dodge Ram was hospitalized with severe injuries.
An 18-year-old man driving the Dodge Charger, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl, both rear passengers, were all hospitalized with serious injuries.
The front right Dodge Charger passenger, a 17-year-old girl, died in the collision.
No additional details regarding this crash were released.
The incident remains under investigation.
