Hymera, IN. – One person was killed in a car accident on Saturday night in Hymera.
According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened near the intersection of Jackson and Oak streets.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision.
One driver was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital, where they died while receiving treatment.
The second driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
