Police said a juvenile was crossing the street when they were hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
Montgomery, IL. – A juvenile was critically injured after a pedestrian accident on Thursday night in Montgomery, Kane County, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
The accident happened on July 31, on Route 30 near Orchard Road and Horseman Trail.
Police said a juvenile was crossing the street when they were hit by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The juvenile was taken to a local hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
The road was closed for several hours following the collision. It was reopened a while after midnight.
No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
