Police said Gina Graber, of Loogootee, was heading eastbound on U.S. 50 in a Ford SUV when she crashed into a FedEx truck at the intersection. The FedEx driver, Daniel Altmeyer, of Huntingburg, was traveling southbound on S.R. 257.

Daviess County, IN. – Jake Kuykendall has been identified as the moped driver killed after a traffic collision involving a FedEx truck on Thursday afternoon in Daviess County, according to Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred at about 4:41 p.m. on July 31, at State Road 257 and U.S. 50.
Police said Gina Graber, of Loogootee, was heading eastbound on U.S. 50 in a Ford SUV when she crashed into a FedEx truck at the intersection. The FedEx driver, Daniel Altmeyer, of Huntingburg, was traveling southbound on S.R. 257.
The impact caused the FedEx truck to strike a moped stopped on the south side of the junction. Mr. Kuykendall of Olney, Illinois, was ejected from the moped. He was rushed to Daviess Community Hospital and later taken to a hospital in Evansville where he succumbed to his injuries.
No additional details concerning the collision were provided.
An investigation is underway.
