Tucson, AZ – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Wednesday in Tucson, according to the Tucson Police Department.

The deadly accident happened on July 30 on North First Avenue at Navajo.

Police said 59-year-old Gregory Lynn Harris was trying to cross the street, outside of a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a passenger vehicle.

Harris was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The involved driver stopped and cooperated with the investigators. They were not impaired at the time of the accident.

The TPD is investigating the accident.
