Spokane, WA. – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a car on Wednesday morning in Spokane.
The bicycle accident happened around 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of SR 27 and East Indiana Avenue, according to Washington State Patrol.
A car was traveling westbound on Indiana Avenue when it struck a bicyclist traveling northbound on SR 27.
The bicyclist was injured and taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
The driver of the car was charged with DUI.
