Police said Hart had just alighted from the bus, tripped on the curb and fell under the back tires of the Citi-Link bus.
Fort Wayne, IN. – 71-year-old David F. Hart of Fort Wayne died on July 29, a few days after he was run over by a bus a while after alighting on Thursday morning in Fort Wayne.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the accident happened at about 10:30 a.m. July 24, near Illinois Road and Hillegas Road.
Police said Hart had just alighted from the bus, tripped on the curb and fell under the back tires of the Citi-Link bus.
Hart succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday July 29.
Witnesses are asked by police to provide a statement concerning the crash.
An investigation is underway.
