Tucson, AZ.- A woman was killed in a collision involving two vehicles in Tucson on Wednesday morning, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident happened on North La Cholla Boulevard and North Fountain Avenue on Wednesday, July 30.
According to the report, Marilyn Young, 88, was driving a Honda Accord westbound on North Fountain Avenue when she was T-boned by a northbound Chrysler 300C driven by a minor.
Young was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Chrysler was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Speed is suspected to have played a role in the incident.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
