The accident happened around 4:28 a.m. at the intersection of Pines Road and I-90.

Spokane, WA – A woman was critically injured in a bicycle accident Wednesday morning in Spokane, according to the WSP.
The accident happened around 4:28 a.m. at the intersection of Pines Road and I-90.
WSP said a woman was riding a bicycle and was towing a dog in a trailer. She ran a red light and was hit by a car.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The dog was uninjured and was taken to Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Services (SCRAPS).
The car driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI.
The troopers are investigating the accident.
