Phoenix, AZ – At least one person was killed early Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in West Phoenix, according to the Arizona DPS.

The fatal collision happened just before 2:30 a.m. on July 27 in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near 43rd Avenue

DPS said multiple vehicles, including a white sedan and a grey sedan, were involved in the collision.

At least one person was killed in the accident. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The collision closed the freeway for several hours but has since reopened.

The DPS is investigating the accident.
