19-Year-Old Fort Walton Beach Man and 50-Year-Old Texas Woman Killed in Motorcycle Accident at U.S. 98 in Fort Walton Beach

Police said a 19-year-old Fort Worth, Texas man was turning left from eastbound U.S. 98 in an SUV and was driving into The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort.

19-Year-Old Man and 50-Year-Old Texas Woman Die After Fort Walton Beach Motorcycle Crash at U.S. 98 near Miracle Strip Parkway

Fort Walton Beach, FL. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly motorcycle accident that killed a 19-year-old man and a 50-Year-Old Texas Woman on Friday night in Fort Walton Beach.

The deadly crash happened at around 9:25 p.m. July 25 at U.S. 98 and the entrance to the Destin West Beach and Bay Resort, 1515 Miracle Strip Parkway.

Police said a 19-year-old Fort Worth, Texas man was turning left from eastbound U.S. 98 in an SUV and was driving into The Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. At the same time, the 19-year-old Fort Walton Beach man was riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed west on U.S. 98 and he hit the right side of the SUV.

The rider and a 50-year-old Texas woman, a front-seat SUV passenger, died in the collision.

The SUV driver and two other SUV passengers were seriously injured due to the crash. They were transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment.

An investigation is underway.
