Terre Haute, IN. – Karen Penick, 68, has been identified as the woman who died in a car accident in Terre Haute on Monday afternoon.
According to the Terre Haute Police Department, the accident happened near North 1st and Locust streets
A vehicle reportedly crashed at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The male driver and Penick were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital.
Sadly, Penick died while receiving treatment.
