A semi-truck driver reportedly lost control on the freeway, causing the truck to roll over
Cook County, IL. – One person was killed in a rollover crash involving a semi-truck in Cook County on Wednesday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, the accident happened around 4 a.m. on a Tri-State Tollway ramp to the Eisenhower Expressway.
A semi-truck driver reportedly lost control on the freeway, causing the truck to roll over.
The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identity has not yet been released by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
