Vancouver, WA – One person was seriously injured Monday night in a pedestrian accident in Vancouver, according to the police.
The accident happened around 9:48 p.m. on July 21 on NE St. Johns Road near NE 44th Street.
Police said a pedestrian was crossing the street, outside of a designated crosswalk, when they were struck by a northbound vehicle.
The pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the accident.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
Impairment was not a factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
