Las Vegas, NV. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a box truck on Thursday night in the east Las Vegas Valley.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 11:18 p.m. on Eastern Avenue near Owens Avenue.
A pedestrian was crossing westbound across Eastern Avenue and was struck by a northbound 2019 Ram ProMaster box truck.
The 38-year-old pedestrian was transported to University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
