Police said the car was heading south when a “naturally falling tree” hit it.
Wildwood FL. – A driver was killed after a tree fell and crushed on their vehicle on Thursday morning in Wildwood, according to the Wildwood Police Department.
The deadly accident occurred at 10:10 a.m. July 17 on Marsh Bend Trail near McNeil Drive.
Police said the car was heading south when a “naturally falling tree” hit it.
The driver and the only occupant in the vehicle was declared dead at the scene.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area following the accident.
An investigation is underway.
