The driver of the white Freightliner was seriously injured and was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Walla Walla

Umatilla County, OR. – One person was seriously injured in a collision involving two semi-trucks on Tuesday in Pendleton, Umatilla County.
According to Oregon State Police, the accident happened on Interstate 84 near Poverty Flats Road.
A green Peterbilt truck that was towing a yellow Freightliner box truck was moving slowly when it was rear-ended by a white Freightliner truck.
The driver of the white Freightliner was seriously injured and was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Walla Walla.
The driver of the Peterbilt was checked at the scene and released.
