Johnson County, IN. – Braden Christopher Robertson, 21, has been identified as the man who died in a car accident on July 6 in Franklin.

According to the Franklin Police Department, the accident happened around 7:59 p.m. at U.S. 31 and Commerce Drive.

43-year-old Jerrin Alan Staker was driving a car at a high rate of speed when he reportedly ran a red light at the intersection and collided with Robertson’s car, which was turning left onto Commerce Drive.

Robertson was killed in the accident.

Staker was injured and was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was arrested on a warrant and taken to the Johnson County Jail after he was released from the hospital on Saturday.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
