Phoenix, AZ – One person was killed after a motorcycle and a car collided Monday night at an intersection in Central Phoenix.
The crash happened at about 10:10 p.m. on July 14 in the area of 16th Street and Riverview Drive.
Investigators said a 70-year-old man was traveling northbound on 16th Street on a motorcycle when he collided with the other vehicle that was turning onto 16th Street from Riverview Drive.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he died.
The other motorist remained at the scene.
No additional information was provided.
The crash is under investigation.
