Glendale, AZ – The police have identified a driver who died in a two-vehicle crash near a Glendale intersection Friday morning.
The deceased driver was identified as 51-year-old Daniel Scott Sargent.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a tanker truck was backing into a nearby business and was blocking three lanes of Grand Avenue, with cones set up in the area.
The driver of a sedan, later identified as Daniel Sargent, drove through the cones and rear-ended the tanker truck.
Bystanders reportedly broke the windows of the car, got Sargent out and performed CPR until Peoria firefighters arrived and took over.
Unfortunately, Sargent succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Glendale, AZ – One person was killed in a collision involving a tanker truck on Friday morning in Glendale.
According to Glendale police, the accident happened around 9 a.m. near Grand Avenue and Royal Palm Road.
A small sedan reportedly drove through road cones and crashed into a tanker truck that was backing into a nearby business.
The sedan driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
