McHenry, IL. – Nine people were hospitalized after being injured in a collision involving a tour van on Saturday night in McHenry.
According to the police, the accident happened around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Prime Parkway and Illinois Route 31.
A tour van reportedly veered off the highway and crashed into a power pole.
A total of fourteen people were involved in the crash, but nine were injured.
One patient was airlifted to Advocate Condell Medical Center. Two were taken to Mercy Health Crystal Lake, two to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, and four to Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital.
Five people were evaluated on scene and declined transport
