Authorities said a dump truck and SUV crashed for unknown reasons.
Charleston, IL. – 18-year-old Waylin Hoshauer of Humboldt was killed after a traffic collision on Wednesday June 25, according to the Coles County Coroner’s Office.
The accident happened at around 9:14 p.m. on Illinois Route 16 near Harrison Street and Madison Avenue.
Authorities said a dump truck and SUV crashed for unknown reasons.
Hoshaue was rushed to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
His family was notified and an autopsy was scheduled for Thursday in Springfield.
No additional details regarding the accident were released.
An investigation is ongoing.
