Maricopa, AZ – Three people were injured on Tuesday in a chain-reaction collision in Maricopa, according to the authorities.
The collision happened at about 9 a.m. on July 8 on State Route 347 near Casa Blanca Road.
Authorities said an Econoline van rear-ended another vehicle that was slowing for traffic, causing a chain-reaction collision involving two other vehicles.
Three people sustained injuries in the collision. One of them had serious injuries.
The collision closed northbound SR 347 at Lakeview Drive.
The authorities are investigating the collision.
