Pamela Shumaker was transported to the hospital, where she died while receiving treatment
Indianapolis, IN. – 42-year-old Pamela Jean Shumaker died after being struck by a car early Tuesday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 3 a.m. on Kentucky Avenue, near South Tibbs Avenue.
Shumaker was reportedly struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The woman was transported to the hospital, where she died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the car showed no signs of intoxication.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
