Authorities said a single vehicle crashed and overturned on its side trapping one person inside.
Melrose, FL. – The Melrose Fire Department and Alachua County Fire officials are investigating a major rollover collision that left a driver with severe injuries on Tuesday morning in Melrose.
The accident happened at around 10:00 a.m. July 8 at the SR 26 and Quail Street intersection.
Authorities said a single vehicle crashed and overturned on its side trapping one person inside.
Responding crews extricated the driver by removing the roof with hydraulic rescue tools.
The driver was flown to a local trauma center.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
An investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol is underway.
