Johnnie Miller Killed After Slamming into Truck at Gas Pump in St. Petersburg

Police said Miller was driving a Chevrolet Malibu in the parking lot when he slammed into a parked Toyota Tacoma at a gas pump, drove over a traffic cone and parked his vehicle. When he got out of his vehicle, he collapsed.

St. Petersburg, FL. – 63-year-old Johnnie Miller was killed after a fatal traffic collision on Tuesday morning in St. Petersburg.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around on June 8, in the parking lot of the Circle K at 10600 Roosevelt Boulevard N.

Police said Miller was driving a Chevrolet Malibu in the parking lot when he slammed into a parked Toyota Tacoma at a gas pump. He then drove over a traffic cone and parked his vehicle.

When he got out of his vehicle, he collapsed.

Miller was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead at the crash site.

Police suspected he had a medical emergency.

The cause of his death will be determined by the medical examiner.

An investigation is underway.
