The driver of the Liberty was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Cass County, IN. – At least one person was killed in a fiery car crash early Sunday morning in Cass County.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 12:08 a.m. on U.S. Highway 24 near County Road 700 East
A 2003 Toyota Echo was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 24 when it collided with a 2002 Jeep Liberty. Both vehicles caught fire after the collision.
The driver of the Toyota Echo was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Liberty was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
More details about the accident were not released.
