Morrow County, OR – One person was killed after a car crashed on Interstate 84 in Morrow County late Thursday night, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal solo-car crash happened at about 10:28 p.m. on July 3, 2025, on Interstate 84 at milepost 162 near Boardman.
According to the Oregon State Police, Timothy W. Nelson, 50, was driving a gray Honda Odyssey eastbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 162 when, for some reason, the vehicle went off the roadway and crashed into the end of a guardrail.
Nelson suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The highway was closed for about 30 minutes during the investigation.
The accident remains under investigation and no additional details are available.
