Western Springs, IL. – One person was killed after a semi-truck accident on Tuesday afternoon in west suburban Western Springs.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened on Interstate 294 near Ogden Avenue.

Two southbound lanes were blocked due to the accident and traffic has been diverted to the two right lanes.
All lanes were still closed as of 4:00 p.m.
