Grants Pass, OR. – A driver was critically injured in a collision on Friday afternoon in Grants Pass.
According to Rural Metro Fire, the accident happened on the Rogue River Highway near Gordon Way.
Two vehicles collided in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision was so severe that it caused both vehicles to catch fire.
One driver was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment by AMR crews.
The condition of the second driver was not immediately disclosed.
The Oregon State Police is investigating the cause of the accident.
