Deputies said a 2016 Ford Transit Van was traveling north on Deerpass Road when the driver ran a stop sign at Kishwaukee Valley Road and crashed into a 2012 Audi Q5 SUV.
Marengo, IL. – Alan Kroll, 11, was killed, 29-year-old man severely injured following a traffic collision on Monday evening in unincorporated Marengo, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at around 6:40 p.m. June 23 at the intersection of Kishwaukee Valley Road and Deerpass Road.
Deputies said a 2016 Ford Transit Van was traveling north on Deerpass Road when the driver ran a stop sign at Kishwaukee Valley Road and crashed into a 2012 Audi Q5 SUV.
Kroll, riding in the Audi, was killed in the crash.
The Audi driver sustained severe injuries following the collision.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
