The driver of the Tahoe was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Mina, NV. – Edward Wesley Hildreth, 86, has been identified as the man who died in a car crash on Thursday morning in Mina, Mineral County.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the accident happened on State Route 360 at mile marker 1 at around 11:40 a.m.
A 2021 Kenworth semi-truck, hauling a refrigerated trailer, was traveling northbound on SR360 when it struck a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe that had made a left turn to access a dirt road. The impact caused the SUV to spin, coming to rest on the southbound dirt shoulder.
Hildreth, a resident of Menlo Park, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a passenger in the SUV.

The driver of the semi-truck was not injured and was taken into custody with unknown charges.
