Police said a Midway man was driving his vehicle east on U.S. 90 at Big B Lane when the Tallahassee man on a skateboard was traveling south across U.S. 90. The vehicle then hit the man.

Tallahassee, IL. – A 19-year-old Tallahassee man was killed after a traffic collision Sunday night in Tallahassee, Leon County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the deadly collision occurred a while before 9:30 p.m. June 22, on U.S. 90 at Big B Lane.
Police said a Midway man was driving his vehicle east on U.S. 90 at Big B Lane when the Tallahassee man on a skateboard was traveling south across U.S. 90. The vehicle then hit the man.
The pedestrian landed in the center divider of U.S. 90 after the crash. He was declared dead at the scene by the Leon County EMS.
His family were notified of the incident.
The car was stopped in the left turn lane of U.S. 90 by the driver. The motorist was not injured in the crash.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
