Police confirmed a commercial truck hauling vehicles swerved off the road in unclear circumstances. Two other vehicles, one overturned on its side and another one that crushed the guardrail, were found at the scene.
Jefferson County, FL. – A man sustained severe head injury following a semi-truck collision on Friday afternoon in Jefferson County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at around 5:00 p.m. June 20 on Interstate 10 near mile marker 221.

Troopers believed the vehicles were being hauled by the semi-truck.
Police closed the westbound lanes following the accident. The roadway is now cleared and all lanes reopened.
An investigation is underway.
