Kenz Nuttall Injured in Rollover Crash on U.S. 60 in Mesa

Per the report, Nuttall was heading westbound on the U.S. 60 in a Tesla when another driver drove into the HOV lane and crashed into his vehicle.

Mesa, AZ. – Kenz Nuttall was injured following a traffic collision last week Sunday in Mesa, according to a local news source.

The accident happened on June 8, on U.S. 60.

Per the report, Nuttall was heading westbound on the U.S. 60 in a Tesla when another driver drove into the HOV lane and crashed into his vehicle. The car rolled several times while Nuttall’s vehicle was thrown into the center divider at nearly 80 mph.

Nuttall was pinned inside his vehicle and suffocated by his airbags and seatbelt for about 10 minutes before an off-duty EMT went to check on him.

He was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries to his collarbone, a bruised sternum and ribs and lacerations on his body.

Nuttall’s Tesla captured images revealing the other driver was on cellphone second before the collision.

He urges drivers to stop texting while driving. The collision was Nuttall’s second collision involving a distracted driver in one year.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (ADPS) no driver has been since been cited.

An investigation is ongoing.
