Linn County, OR – One person was killed and two others were injured following a two-vehicle collision caused by a suspected DUII driver at an intersection in Lebanon.

The deadly collision happened at Lacomb Drive and Bond Road on June 12, 2025, at 7:32 p.m.

Deputies with the Linn County Sheriff’s Office responded to the deadly collision.

Investigators said Marion Johnson, 69, from Albany, was driving a black Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on Bond Road when he approached the stop sign at the intersection. Johnson then proceeded through the stop sign and his vehicle was hit by a grey 2014 Dodge Ram pickup driven eastbound by 32-year-old Cole Russell Allen, from Lebanon.

Power lines were reportedly on top of the vehicles.

Johnson and his wife Valda Johnson, 67, were trapped in the Tahoe following the collision.

Deputies with the Linn County Sheriff’s Office and Lebanon Fire Department crews responded to the scene and had power disconnected, before working to extricate the Johnson’s.

Marion Johnson was pronounced at the scene. His wife suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis.

Deputies said Allen was speeding just before the crash.

Further investigation revealed that Allen was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. He suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Allen was arrested and was charged with Manslaughter II, Assault III, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII), and Reckless Driving.

The incident remains under investigation.
