Authorities confirmed two vehicles crashed head-on in unclear circumstances.
Ellettsville, IN. – 62-year-old Cindy Bentley of Gosport, Indiana and another person was killed following a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in Ellettsville, Monroe County.
According to the Monroe County Coroner’s Office the accident happened at 5:18 p.m. June 13, on State Road 46, just east of Stinesville Road.

One of the drivers was declared dead at the crash site.
The second driver, Bentley, was flown to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment of severe injuries.
She succumbed to her injuries at 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
An investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is ongoing.
