One person was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead
Sunnyside, WA. – One person was killed in a three-car accident on Friday morning in Sunnyside.
According to the Sunnyside Police Department, the crash happened at the intersection of Waneta Road and Yakima Valley Highway.
Three vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
A 24-year-old Grandview resident was transported to the hospital and was pronounced dead.
Police arrested a 25-year-old Pasco resident on suspicion of DUI.
More details about the accident were not released.
