Bend, OR. – A man died after being hit by a car at a parking in Bend on Sunday afternoon.
According to a report by Bend Police Department, the accident happened around 2 p.m., at 660 NE 3rd Street.
A 31-year-old Bend man was driving a Toyota Tacoma in the parking lot when he struck a 71-year-old man.
The man was transported to Charles Bend Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The driver was cited for careless driving causing an accident.
