The truck flipped on its side and slid more than 200 feet before coming to rest
LaPorte County, IN. – 60-year-old Robert Bluitt of Camden, N.J. was killed in a collision that occurred in LaPorte on Thursday.
According to the police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of the Indiana Toll Road at around 2:20 p.m.
Bluitt was driving a semi and towing a box trailer westbound on the highway when he lost control and crashed.
The truck flipped on its side and slid more than 200 feet before coming to rest.
Bluitt was killed in the collision.
More details about the accident were not released.
