Belle Glade, Florida – A man was killed earlier this month in a dirt bike accident in Belle Glade, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).
The deadly accident happened on May 3, on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near SW 8th Street.
PBSO said Joel Trfoya, 27, was riding his Yamaha dirt bike westbound on Dr. MLK Blvd, approaching SW 8th Street. An eastbound vehicle attempted to turn left onto SW 8th Street and entered into Trfoya’s path, resulting in a collision.
Trfoya was ejected from his dirt bike and was taken to the hospital where he died on May 6.
No other details were available.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
