Carrollton, IL. – 69-year-old Dennis Swarringim, of Roodhouse, was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in Carrollton.
The fatal collision happened around 1 p.m. on US Route 67 at Berdan Road near mile marker 12.
Swarringim was driving a black Ford Fiesta sedan when he drifted across the center line and collided with a semi-truck.
Swarringim was pronounced dead at the scene by the Greene County Coroner.
More details about the accident were not released.
The Illinois State Police and the Greene County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the accident.
