Chandler, AZ. – An 8-year-old girl died in a car crash that occurred on Thursday morning in Chandler.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 9 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the 202 (Santan Freeway) near Kyrene Road.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision. The report did not disclose the events leading up to the accident.
One person and a child had to be extricated from a vehicle after the collision.
The 8-year-old girl was transported to hospital where she later died.
